The bowl is engraved with 3 different symbols: the Phoenix, the Dragon, and a Lemniscate that opens onto birds. The Dragon represents a preliminary stage of transformation. By delving into the unconscious, the old consciousness places itself in a perilous situation, as it seemingly extinguishes itself in order to metamorphose. The Dragon is the symbol of Gold of Consciousness…
The Phoenix represents the philosophical sulfur. It then represents the principle of fixity that resides in the core of our central fire, where it seems to consume itself endlessly, only to be reborn continuously from its ashes. It is the symbol of regeneration that is the alchemical work of the red.
Between these 2 engraved figures, a Lemniscate. It is a form of spiral movement with incessant passage through the center. Traditionally, as in mathematics, it has become the symbol of infinity.
